It seems at Zara Shajahan the dreaded question has materialized... Short shirts are back?

Ok am still not convinced but surely the collection is so much fun! Its young, fresh and trend setting.

Nayna: Fashion Week Karachi.

Nayna has been in the shadows for a very long time, their collection in the earlier fashion week was a 'Hello World!' for the fashion peeps... This recent collection she plays safe, their is growth in areas but concentration is on commercially viable (READ: shaadi jodas) and wearable clothes.

Ali Zeeshan: Yawwwwnnn

A one trick pony? Ali Zeeshan went down the same road, with a themed ramp show. However this time round its not exciting at all, the fact that there is a different kind of bird on display just doesn't cut it... and still now sign of wearable clothes.

Commercial appeal : Zilch.

Desi Girls! Done well....

LSAs is a ground set for mistakes, so when Freiha and Nadia strike it just right is eastern ensembles, I am but very glad!

Love the Sana Safinaz dress on Freiha, her make up an styling all gel well together. Nadia on the other hand wear Nomi Ansari, the dress is fully worked but survives it all and maintains a rather chic feel to itself, Fusion done right!

Ayaan: Two rights and a very big wrong.

I am truly impressed by Ayaan's recent fashion campaigns, the camera absolutely loves her. Her choice of dress was a Sonya Batla halter neck.. which is simple elegant and could have done so much more than this. The makeup and the hair totally kills the look.

Sana Safinaz take the LSAs.

Winners of the LSAs and the most graceful designer duo of Pakistan, Sana and Safinaz.

Sana went contemporary with an off the shoulder print dress, Notice how she pairs it with statement earrings. While Safinaz goes for an opulent eastern look, looking elegant and graceful. She sets off her ensemble with small drop earrings.. Lesson?

... If your dress is 'the' statement, let the jewelry die down.
