Ali Zafar: Dapper dude!
At Karan Johar's birthday Bollywood came out in full bloom! However stealing the limelight was our very own fashionable, confident and dapper Ali Zafar. The wifey made for a very graceful arm candy in a beautifully draped gown by Zara Shahjahan.
Ali was dressed by Omar of Republic, a Pakistani men's wear brand which is yes 'one of it's kind' You won't mind spending your bucks here, and thinking why not just go abroad and get something. Republic has finally brought men's wear home. Welcome to smartly dressed Pakistani men. God knows how i have craved (excuse the audacity of the word) to see colored denim, linen jackets and sharp suits in Pakistan but wait a minute, the fun doesn't end here! There are amazing footwear and accessories available too! Ok so back to Ali Zafar...
Omar gave us an exclusive insight into the whole drama of designing for Ali. It is the first ever super star Republic has dressed, Omar had only four days to bring together an ensemble as dapper as this one. The jacket is a smoking champagne color which was a mutual decision between the star and the dresser. The pants have almost discreet satin running on the sides, and the black velvet bow tie just completes the drool worthy old school buttery hot look for Ali! We would love to hear what you think about the look, so click on comment beneath the post and drool away...

Sadaf Malattere: Runway Review
The Sadaf Malattere collection at the PFDC Fashion week was a very strong dose of artistic aesthetics, and i loved it thoroughly! I felt the cuts were a hit and miss and the footwear was a bit too ambitious which left model Fauzia in a lengthy pause at the runway. Generally the collection was a screaming happy, hippy frenzy of Art. I do hope the gypsy prints make it to the shops in a wearable silhouette for the end consumer to enjoy.

Faiza Samee: Runway Review
I'm the biggest believer in the arts and crafts of Pakistan. Fazia Samee is one such lady who always brings out the best way possible to glorify our traditional roots and aesthetics. Orange is the new Black?
I'm all about oranges, yellows and greens for the summer! Love a dash of loud color to brighten up things in the summer. Nida Azwer wears a very Hermes orange birkin with gold hardware, a personal favorite. While Sania wears her own label, this very intense shade of orange is deep delicious and not flashy at all. If your scared of color, just go for a nice scarf such as this by Dior to brighten up a black or white shirt.

How to: PRINT!
Ok so we know print is bang on trend, we have fashion magazines, websites, designers and your's truly telling you to DO PRINT! But a couple of readers have emailed us asking how to do print...
Here's a visual guide of 'How to print'.
Just a few things to remember are:
- Print is an overwhelming trend so go for neutral accessories. For day a white ceramic watch by Follie Folli and a balenciaga top handle is great.
- Buy things that multi-task. Like these Zara flats which are great for day wear but can be used at night too, why? Because of the metallic leather.
- A pair of nude Louboutins will go a long long long way... and more! invest in a good pare of nude peep toes, you will never regret it.
- Use statement pieces like this exotic arm candy by Stella McCartney for a night out.
- A hit of block color is all you can afford when wearing print. It's easy to incorporate it through jewelry.

Trend Alert: PRINT!
Print has undoubtedly become the most obvious and popular trend this season. Designers across the globe are jumping on the band wagon by using print in every which way.
Dolce and Gabanna have done every kind, from animal to vegetable, from polka to butterfly! Mc Queen has always featured a kaleidoscope inspired print in various shapes. For a great bargain try places like asos.com, coast, debenhams and warehouse.
The Pakistani fashion scene is right on trend with a wide range of prints making their way to the ramps and red carpets. With nature inspired prints by Sania Maskatiya to the geometric stiffness by Fahd Hussayn prints have certainly made it huge. Designers like Elan and Shehla Chatoor featured printed dresses whereas Kamiar Rokni, Sadaf and Zara Shahjahan's entire collections were print centric.
